One of the many challenges of being a freelance designer is that you're ultimately responsible for everything from the bookkeeping, to the design, to the janitorial duties. And one of the most important aspects of growing any business is marketing. I've been very fortunate that in the ten years I've been freelancing I've had to do very little marketing. Most, if not all, of my business has come word of mouth. That says a lot about the relationships I've built over the years and the service I provide.

Even though my office is in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, modern technology has made it possible to serve clients pretty much anywhere. Heck, I even have a client in Peru!
