T H E O V E R D O G P A C K Don't think for a second that I could do this alone. We get a lot of help from our support staff. Here are a few of the most important ones... T H E O V E R D O G M E T H O D 1. Identify - Perhaps the most important step of the process is to work with the client to identify the problems associated with the project. Who is the audience? What kind of response are you looking for from the audience? How much do you want to spend? You basically have two options in advertising, number one is to out spend them. Number two is outsmart them. I prefer to outsmart. 2. Concept - This is where we get our creative juices flowing. Logos, web sites, packaging, they all start the same way . . . paper and ink. We sketch, doodle, scribble and scrawl, but Rule #1 is never stop the pen from moving. That leads us to Rule #2: no wood allowed! Pencils encourage the use of erasers. Erasers erase potentially good ideas and stop the creative process dead in its tracks while you take time to mentally back up and start over. We only sketch with ink. 3. Produce - Once the waste basket is full with rejected sketches, the process of elimination will reveal a refined set of drawings and then the idea is taken digital. Any number of procedures can be used to review art work with clients depending on the project. For print projects, the most popular method is Acrobat PDF files sent via e-mail. Art work and web sites can also be posted on the web in a secluded area for client review. 4. Delivery - As you smile at a job well done and expose your pearly whites, we'll know you're happy and that will make everyone involved happy too. Overdog Art is here to make your design and advertising problems go away and leave you time to do what you're good at. We know you've set high standards to achieve your goals and we're no different. Aristotle said, "Quality is not an act, it's a habit." That's one habit I'm not trying to kick. Less expensive than the big guys, more attractive than the small ones. Give us a call. We'll make it easy. © 2007 Overdog Art |
